Transcontinental
Express Exhibition was done by Oakridge students. The guests for the event were
Preeti Menda and Sridevi Saride. The Exhibition helped the students to develop
further understanding about Culture, Food, History, Travels, etc. of 6
different continents: 'Asia', 'Europe', 'Australia', 'North America,’ ‘South
America,' and 'Africa'.
The
Exhibition offered good knowledge of applicatory and analytical skills. Even small kids were trying to tell about each Continent and their
specialty like important monuments and why they are famous. A proper train
setup was done to give a structure of Express Train and students announced each Continent's information in 4 different languages (as we hear at a station). Apart from developing knowledge and
awareness, children enjoyed a lot at the Exhibition.
