The students of IX C had a practical on
the activity of enzymes. They tested the activity of catalase enzyme present in
plant cells. Catalase enzyme was used to break down hydrogen peroxide into
water and oxygen. The students also tested the factors like pH and
temperature which affect the rate of the reaction.
