Lab Activity of Grade IX

A lab activity was set up for grade IX students on a mixture of Sulfur & Iron Powder, Sulfur and Iodine Powder, Sulfur and Water to understand the purity of Matter around us. Students were taught the separation technique of materials such as magnets, filtration, and burner, and they were asked to separate the substances by using the methods of their choice.

The students  very enthusiastically took the challenge and came out with correct  conclusions, basing on the conclusions the lesson introduced to them - " IS MATTER AROUND US PURE".
