The
children of grade II did an activity on divisions. Children were given number
cards, ice-cream sticks, tamarind seeds and match-sticks to do the sum using
these they were able to understand the concept of dividing a given quantity.
And finally they managed to show the divisor, dividend, quotient and remainder.
