LAB ACTIVITY OF GRADE IX AND X STUDENTS

Grade IX
In connection with the topic ‘Matter In Our Surroundings’, students were given Potassium Permanganate and Copper Sulfate along with distil water and were asked to observe the salt distribution in water.
The pupils were enthusiastic to do the activity and observed the changes that occurred and could also give conclusions as matter is made up of tiny particles which are in motion.

Grade X
In connection with the topic "Chemical Reactions and Equations”, did an experiment to understand the balancing of equations and the law of conservation of mass, and understood the sum of reactants should be always equal to sum of products.
Students conducted the reactions of combining Lead Nitrate and Potassium Iodide and also Barium Chloride and Sodium Sulfate and took the readings of it.
