Guest Lecture for Grade XI and XII

A Guest Lecture was organized for students of grade XI and XII. Prof. P. Nirmala Devi, Chairman of Board of Students in the Dept. of Psychology and Parapsychology- Andhra University, interacted with our students on the topic "Spending Vacation Successfully". Children were excited to participate and actively they took part in the group discussion. Finally they made their own plans and schedules for the holidays approaching soon.

Pre-primary 'Graduation Day'

The momentous day - which is our Pre-primary 'Graduation Day’, was celebrated at our Pre-primary wing. Like always, this year again there were tears of joy in the eyes of parents, grand-parents, brothers, sisters and relatives when they saw their children grow to the next level of their life, their confidence level, and their performance on stage. 

PRIMARY PARENT TEACHER MEETING

Parent-Teacher-Meeting [PTM] was held for parents of students from grade I to IV. Report Card, CCA Report and Class Photo were given. 'Child Development Program' [CDP] was explained to all parents for the next academic year. The Common Agreement document was signed by parent-student- teacher. Parents were very happy to know about the innovative teaching methodologies that Oakridge create for children.

Lab Activity of Grade IX

"MATTER IN OUR SURROUNDINGS", was explained to the students of grade IX through an activity conducted in the lab. Students learned about the phase change and latent heat of vaporization and fusion. Students were excited to see the temperature consistency of boiling of water and melting ice through demonstration. 

Inter conversion of matter was also demonstrated to children by heating Iodine and Ammonium Chloride to make them understand the direct change of solid to gaseous form termed as Sublimation.
