Role-playing
is a fun way for kindergarten students to learn social skills and develop an
understanding of feelings. The children of PP2 had a role-play on the story “The
Little Red Hen”. This was done to develop empathy for others and also be more
prepared for situations that can arise during unsupervised playtime.
Role-playing activities can also teach kindergartners about manners, safety,
rules and sharing.
