FITNESS CLASS TO GRADE I



Students of grade I attended a Fitness class conducted by Mr. Madhan (Leap start Bangalore).                                        
This unit is designed to introduce the students to the concepts of fitness by working the upper and lower extremities and also core of the body (abdomen & lower back) to enhance muscular endurance. It also encourages the concepts of cooperation and teamwork. This unit strongly emphasizes the fun aspect of Physical Education.
 Skills covered: Muscular strength and endurance, levels (low medium high), tempos (slow medium high), loco motors skills (walking, jumping, running, hopping, galloping, and side-sliding), directions, teamwork.
