Children of
grade III went for a field trip to Indian overseas bank in relation to their
lesson money. They communicated with the manager and accountant.
They learnt
about different types of accounts, how to open a bank account and age to open
an account, Why should people need to save money, what bank does with the money deposited, how can
we save money in a bank, how much the minimum and maximum amount a person can
save in a month, what do we get when we save money in a bank, and how much they
can withdraw with a ATM machine. They also understood how to exchange the
currencies.
It was
really a learning enrichment field trip. Our little ones were having many
queries related to money & bank personnel patiently replied to them.
