important tips on how to take care and have healthy teeth.
How should we
care for our teeth?
How should we
care for our teeth?
·
Good oral hygiene. Floss between teeth before brushing. And chewing
toothpaste on a piece of foam before brushing helps to force paste into the
grooves of teeth.
·
Regular teeth brushing. Plaque can be removed by brushing with a
fluoride-based toothpaste which helps saliva repair teeth. Plaque cannot be
removed by rinsing alone. Brushing twice a day after meals will protect teeth.
Children under the age of six should use low-fluoride toothpaste.
·
Regular visits to the dentist. Regular checks at the dentist are an
important part of maintaining healthy teeth and gums. Children should visit
their dentist every six months.
·
Eat a healthy diet. Snack on foods that are less acidic or sweet, such
as cheese, nuts, apples, carrots and celery. And limit sugary foods and drinks
such as juice, soft drinks and sports drinks as they soften teeth. Milk-based
drinks are preferable. Water is better still.

Blog The Activity on Physics, Chemistry And Biology
On PTM day on IGCSE block, science
teachers have conducted activities that were connected with the chapters
taught.
Boarders performed activities in Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
In Chemistry students performed Flame test and showed states of matter, arrangement of particles, and also showed the models of Elements, Compounds and Mixtures.
In Physics students showed activities in Pressures, and Density.
By Biology students demonstrated flower and its parts, parents were showed Pollen grains in microscope and also Healthy Diet.
Parents enjoyed the show put up by students and actively participated and were keen in observing the demonstrations given by students.

Activity on Antonyms
An activity on Antonyms was held
on 16th July in the class for Grade 1 children. Two sided
placards with Antonyms written on it were given to children,
like the word “DAY” (with picture) on one side and its
opposite “NIGHT” (with picture) on the other side. Children had to
see one side, spell the word and mention the opposite of the word.
This activity helped them to understand that Antonyms means the opposite of any word.
It was interesting to see the little ones come up with their own answers and some trying to make a perfect guess with the help of pictures while the others interested in only holding on to the placards.
