A Grand Victory to Celebrate



Oakridger Shanti Rayudu brought great accomplishment to the school with her achievement in the Spell Bee Mega Final National held at Kolkata on 22nd December. She won over children from more than 350 schools across India. Oakridge acknowledge her immense talent and intelligence. We announce her victory to the world with great pleasure and prestige.

SDP Program (Guest Lecture)



Children of grade IV and V has attended Guest lecture on 18th December in by Mrs. Yasodhara Veeramacheneni, (Mother of Raja Veeramacheneni- class VA) who worked in USA as a hospital administrator). She came up with the topic “Importance of attitude to be a successful person". She explained this in a wonderful way by connecting with 3 inspiring stories which ends with the importance of attitude, hard work and never gives up thought to be successful in future. She also mentioned importance of soft skills and hard skills in one's life which helps the student to stand confident in society in any situation. Children enjoyed the session with her and they have even asked us to have more and more sessions with her.






SDP Classes for Grade I & II



Mrs. Kounine Banu Parent of grade II student was invited for a guest lecture to talk to kids about the importance of saving money in connection with the SDP Class on 18-12-2012. She spoke to the kids about how much kids love gift and what they have to do to earn those gifts by them. She advised them to keep a piggy bank at home and start collecting money every day at least 1 rupee. And when you use the money from the piggy bank buy something for yourself and a part of it share it with the poor.
Kids understood the importance, how to earn money and also how to help the poor.

The Swimmers



Swimming produces a wide array of health and social benefits for kids of all ages. It provides children with a fun aquatic activity that also promotes good health and social development skills. Students of grade I was taken to the Pre Primary Block for the Aqua Ducks. Kids were dressed in their swim suits ready for the dip. Kids enjoyed themselves by splashing water on themselves and when it was time to come out nobody wanted to leave the pool. This helps to provide confidence to swim through participation in a wide variety of supervised aquatic activities. 









Aqua Ducks



Children of grade II and III attended a swimming competition of 12.5m freestyle both for girls & boys. The young champs enthusiastically participated in the competition. They were looking like ducks came altogether and having fun in the pool, everybody was overwhelmed with joy, they were cheering each other & motivating. Siva sai of grade II came first and Arham &Dhruv secured second and third prize respectively. In girls category Shreya came first and Azema &Rutika were second and third.
