Children of grade 2 did an activity on Rhyming Words in the
class on 24th Sept, 2014. Children were given flash cards (each
one a card) and asked to find their partners. For example, if a child gets a
word “round”, he/she has to search for a rhyming word
like “sound”. Later they come with their partners and read out the words.
Children learned new rhyming words and also it helped them to
enhance their listening and reading skills. Children enjoyed playing the
game.
