Lab Activity by Grade VIII

In connection with the topic "Exothermic and Endothermic reactions"the students of class-8 C.I.E had performed the reactions with zinc and HCL and neutralization reactions and could easily identify the Exothermic and Endothermic reactions.Students  actively  participation in the lab activity and students easily understand the concept.

Teacher’s Day Celebrations

A good teacher is like a candle,

 it consumes itself to light the way for others.

On 5^th September 2013 teacher’s day was celebrated at Oakridge Vizag to make all the teachers feel really important. Children welcomed the teachers with a rose and a greeting card. Mr. Avneesh our director, Ms. Rama our principal, Mr. Rajesh vice principal and Mr. Murali our bursar inaugurated the function by lighting a lamp. The senior children put up a cultural show which was enjoyed by all the teachers. Mr. Siva Mani and his team mesmerized all the teacher by a spell bounding magic show. After a delicious lunch, the teachers were rewarded and awarded for the best shorts given by them in the year 2012-13. 

Tennis Tournament Opening Ceremony

The Tennis Tournament Opening Ceremony was held at Oarkridge . Mr. Mohammed Khan -additional deputy commissioner of police for special  was invited as the Chief Guest for this prestigious event. Mr Avneesh Singh the school director, Ms Rama our principal, Mr Rajesh the vice principal and Mr Murali -Bursar were also present on this occasion. A friendly match was played between the chief guest and the director after the lighting of the lamp. The chief guest then declared open the match. The children also played for some time and then the parents were taken for a school tour by the counselors.

Grade 1’s “Fruits" Activity in Hindi Class

Students learned about fruits with the help of pictures and real fruits. They learned about the color, size and importance of each fruit and how healthy it is to have a fruit everyday.

SHOW AND TELL

Students of grade 7 have done an activity on numbers. They have played a game of show and tell in which one person will show questions and another will tell answer  and vice versa. This game had made them to think and understand in a higher order numbers.
