Magician B. S. Reddy was the highlight of the week. He was invited to school as the students of Class, II, IV & V all had topics dealing with magic. Though the magician enthralled the children with his tricks he also revealed some of his secrets and all connected their classroom science to magic.

Visit to the Post Office
The students of class III visited the Vijayanagaram post office on as part of their learning. Students understood the communication through the hands on activity. They bought envelopes and inserted letters they had written, sealed, addressed and had them stamped before posting it to the classmates.
Puppet show
Students of class V presented a Puppet show. They used waste material to make puppets. All groups presented stories with moral values.

Age of adolescence
Students of class VIII were involved in an interactive session with Doctor Lakshmi Prasuna in connection with their science topic- Age of adolescence & Reproduction. They learned about the various physical and emotional changes occurring during this phase and ways to tackle them. Balanced diet and physical fitness are key factors during this period.
“FIBRES TO FABRIC”
In connection to the topic “FIBRES TO FABRIC” the students of class 7 are taken to the jute factory. The students learnt the process of the transformation of the raw jute to the final product.
Perimeter and Area
Children of class IV A & B had done an activity related to ‘Perimeter and Area’. They made different irregular shapes using grid papers and found out the Perimeter and Area of those irregular shapes. Children used practical demonstration on perimeter and area by using the squares in the School corridors to find Perimeter and Area.
