Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations

Ganesh Chaturthi is the Hindu festival celebrated on the birthday of Lord Ganesh, the son of Shiva and Parvati. It is believed that Lord Ganesh bestows his presence on earth for all his devotees during this festival. It is the day when Ganesha was born. Ganesh is widely worshiped as the god of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune and traditionally invoked at the beginning of any new venture or at the start of travel. This festival is also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi in AP. We had a nice celebration on our campus and Mr. Avneesh and his wife were the main devotees in the ceremony. We had four varieties of prasadam which was served . All boarding children brought their books to Lord Ganesh to get his blessings to write their SA-1 exams well.
