On
the occasion of Library Week Celebrations, our Librarian Mrs. Sandhya Rani
invited a guest on 16th November, Dr. K. SomasekharRao, M.A, MLISc, Ph.d.
He is a Professor of Library Sciences and Head of the Library Information
Sciences department of Andhra University.
He
was honoured with two best theses, Sri Kovuuri Gangi Reddy Gold medal and Smt. &
Sri Avula Jaya Prada cash award. He conducted many seminars, conferences and
workshops all around India.
He
addressed the students of Classes 7, 8 and 9 in the dining hall. He motivated
all the students with his speech about importance of a library and how to make
use of the library material in an effective way. He asked many questions to
students and our students responded very well. He appreciated all the students
for all the smart answers given by them.
