Our existence in the universe is simply because of the
greenery around us. It is too hard to believe that without trees we humans
would not exist on this beautiful planet, but let’s face it as this is the fact.
Our existing forests and the trees we plant, work in tandem to make a better
world.
Trees have inspired us for 1000 of years and it’s no wonder that
they have always been a cultural symbol. Apart from balancing the ecology the
trees have also proven to be beneficial for various purposes when planted
inside home. Little is known that the
simple presence of the color green can do wonders in a home.
Trees planted indoors not only improve the indoor air quality but
it also adds beauty to the decorum. Study suggests that greenery at home
enhances creativity and productivity in a human being. Most importantly
research shows that patients in hospitals who have more view of greenery are
likely to recover faster than the rest.
The presence of green color in the work atmosphere reduces the
risk of blood pressure for the employees by 5 points than in non-plant offices.
One need not put a real plant in the office even a fake green plant can do
wonders to your health. The live plants also reduce stress, reduce air-borne
bacteria by 50-60%, remove toxic chemicals and produce oxygen.
There is a proverb that says, ‘The best time to plant a tree is 20
years ago. The second time is now.’ Whether you are planting a tree as a
tribute to a loved one, beautifying your neighborhood, increasing your home’s
curb appeal, or simply just helping the planet they tend to play a significant
role in our lives. Thus 75% of all households have at least one indoor plant.
Plants whether creeper or potted when planted inside home unleash
their glamour and make the space more relaxing, healthy and beautiful.
